Wallie: inovação e ecodesign ao serviço da reciclagem é apresentado na Exposição “Verde Perto”

Visitors at the "Verde Perto" exhibition in Matosinhos are impressed by LIPOR innovative and eco-friendly solution: the Wallie, a wall-mounted recycling bin, made from recycled plastic from end-of-life garden chairs and tables. This product, on display until July 2025 at the former Vasco da Gama canning factory, is a clear example of how LIPOR transforms waste into practical and sustainable everyday solutions.

Wallie reflects LIPOR’s philosophy of turning plastic waste into useful resources, promoting a sustainable lifestyle that incorporates daily gestures to promote waste reduction and recycling. The Wallie, a wall-mounted recycling bin, not only simplifies waste management but also helps preserve the environment by repurposing plastics that would otherwise go to waste.

LIPOR's participation in the exhibition, which focuses on carbon neutrality, goes beyond simply showcasing products. By presenting Wallie, LIPOR highlights its vision of transforming waste into valuable resources, aligning with the goals of a circular economy and sustainability. Organized by the Municipality of Matosinhos, the exhibition brings together various companies and organizations committed to carbon neutrality and features lectures and educational workshops on best environmental practices.

Wallie is just one of many LIPOR initiatives that exemplify its commitment to innovation in waste management and building a more responsible and sustainable future. For visitors to the "Verde Perto" exhibition, the recycling bin demonstrates that creative and eco-friendly solutions can be integrated into daily life, encouraging the adoption of more conscious and responsible environmental habits.
