In a campaign to raise awareness of packaging waste recycling, Novo Verde is supporting the launch of Wallie, a wall-mounted household recycling bin developed by LIPOR with recycled plastics from end-of-life tables and chairs. An innovative project that reflects LIPOR's concern to promote a lifestyle that contributes to the sustainability of the planet.
Its modern and functional design allows you to recycle in style and use the recycling bin as a piece of decoration, as it is customizable. What's more, Wallie is designed to be fixed to the wall, which makes it possible to take advantage of free spaces; it doesn't make it difficult to clean the floor; and it allows you to have a recycling point in any room.
Winner of the FAMAE international competition in 2018, Wallie was designed with eco-design principles in mind. It is 100% recyclable and contains 89% recycled material. In addition, its flat design has made it possible to reduce the volume of the packaging by 40%.
Novo Verde has joined in the promotion of Wallie, an ecopoint that will be offered to schools as part of its Geração Verdão campaign, a program in line with the National Strategy for Environmental Education, thus rewarding educational establishments involved in one of its challenges: the Verdão Brigade, where students become auditors and monitor the separation of waste in the classroom.
The Wallie is prepared for a flow and has been designed so that each family or class can decide how many will be useful in their daily routine. Each Wallie holds up to 10kg and stores up to 22 liters, which corresponds to 32 milk cartons flattened or 12 unflatted. An internal bag, supplied with the Wallie, allows the waste to be transported to the street recycling point.
Your waste looks great is the signature of the product that has been promoted through the website www.wallie.com.pt, where you can find more information about the product and the point of sale.
